Wondering why we ask visitors to arrive 15 minutes before their session? Learn why arriving early helps ensure a smooth experience at Normobaric Wellness Centre.
Why We Ask Visitors to Arrive 15 Minutes Early
If you’ve booked a session with us, you’ve probably noticed that we ask everyone to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment.
Some people wonder why.
The answer is simple: arriving a little early helps ensure you don’t miss your session.
Unlike many appointments where you can walk in at any time, our chamber operates on a carefully planned schedule.
Our Chamber Operates in Two-Hour Sessions
At Normobaric Wellness Centre, visitors enter the chamber together at the beginning of each scheduled session.
Once everyone is comfortably inside, the chamber door is closed and the session begins.
From that point on, the chamber remains closed until the session has finished.
This allows us to maintain a consistent environment throughout the full two-hour experience.
Why Being a Few Minutes Late Matters
Traffic happens.
Finding parking can take longer than expected.
Unexpected delays are part of life.
That’s exactly why we ask visitors to arrive 15 minutes early.
If you arrive a few minutes behind schedule, there’s often still enough time for us to get you checked in before the chamber session begins.
However, once the chamber has started, we can’t simply open the door to let someone in.
Unfortunately, anyone arriving after the session has begun will need to be rescheduled for another available session.
Why We Don’t Open the Chamber During a Session
Many people ask if we can quickly open the chamber to let someone in.
The answer is no.
Our chamber is designed to operate as a complete two-hour session.
Opening the chamber during that time affects the internal environment, including the pressure and oxygen-enriched air inside.
To provide a consistent experience for everyone already in the chamber, we keep the door closed until the session has ended.
For that reason, we ask all visitors to arrive before the session begins.
Help Us Keep Every Session Running Smoothly
Arriving 15 minutes early also gives you time to:
- Check in with our team.
- Ask any questions before your session.
- Get comfortable before entering the chamber.
- Begin your visit feeling relaxed instead of rushed.
It’s a small step that helps keep every session running on schedule for everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I’m running late?
If you think you’re going to be late, please call us as soon as possible.
We’ll do our best to help, but once the chamber session has begun, we won’t be able to add anyone to that session.
Can the chamber be opened once the session has started?
No.
To maintain the chamber’s operating conditions and provide a consistent experience for everyone inside, the chamber remains closed for the full session.
Only exception is if someone inside of the chamber is having a medical emergency
Do I really need to arrive 15 minutes early?
Yes.
We strongly recommend arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled session. Even if you’re delayed by a few minutes, arriving early gives you the best chance of joining your scheduled session before it begins.
Our Recommendation
Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before your appointment.
That extra time helps make check-in easy, gives you a chance to settle in, and ensures you’re ready to enter the chamber before the session begins.
We’d much rather have you relaxing with a few minutes to spare than rushing in and risking missing your session.
Summary
We ask visitors to arrive 15 minutes early so every session can begin smoothly and on time.
Because the chamber operates in scheduled two-hour sessions, we aren’t able to admit visitors after the session has started.
Arriving a little early helps ensure you can enjoy your full visit without the stress of rushing or missing your appointment.
